Requirements
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience with ReactJS
- Proficiency in NodeJS and Typescript
- Knowledge of state management tools (zustand, redux, context, etc.)
- Experience in Unit and Integration Testing using Jest, React Testing Library, and other testing libraries
- Understanding of RESTful APIs/GraphQL and integration of endpoints to frontend
- Familiarity with frontend frameworks such as Next.js, CRA
- Understanding of design patterns, software designing, and architecture best practices
- Able to think strategically and develop scalable solutions.
- Good attention to UI/interaction/animation details.
- Experience collaborating with designers within a customer-centric design process and a passion for building amazing user-facing products.
- Familiar with GIT flow and other SCM systems
Nice to Have
- ChakraUI, TailwindCSS, and UI/UX experiences
- Experience in converting Figma designs to rich-quality code
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Strong understanding of different rendering methods (SSR, SSG, CSR, ISR)
- Familiarity with component modularization
- Experience in integration of third-party APIs and Services
- Experience in tackling web performance optimizations measures (Lighthouse, Core Web Vitals)
- Knowledge of NPM package creation
- Knowledge of Storybook
- Experience with agile software development methodologies
- Have a good knowledge of UI, responsive design, and cross-browser compatibility.
- Knowledge of other frontend frameworks and paradigms (Svelte and SvelteKit, React Native/Flutter)
Key Responsibilities
- Lead projects and initiatives with different and competing timelines and requirements.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to design and implement user-facing features
- Design and develop technical solutions to support ScaleForge's business operations.
- Create reusable components and place them into a curated repository Storybook/Git/NPM for other developers to create their digital applications
- Work within the existing framework but always suggest improvements in how we work and choice of platforms/technologies.
- Optimizing components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers
- Coordinating with various teams working on distinct layers
- Stay informed and in tune with the latest methodologies, best practices, and trends in the web/ app development
- Optimize application performance and ensure seamless user experience across various devices and browsers
- Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and adhere to best practices.
- Identify and address technical debt, and proactively suggest improvements to existing systems.
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to other front-end engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth.
- Write clean, reusable, and well-documented code
- Conduct thorough testing and debugging of applications
- Work with limited direction in a fluid environment while exceeding delivery expectations and service levels.
- Contribute to ongoing maintenance of existing and future projects.
- Foster a transparent and collaborative environment within the development team and throughout the entire organization.
